Mt Jefferson Pinot Noir 2016
Mt Jefferson Cuvee is the first of six Cristom Pinot Noirs to be released each year. Whole-cluster fermentations by native yeast and extended aging in French oak are the hallmarks of the Cristom winemaking style. As a rule Oregon strawberry, pekoe-tea leaves and cola notes on the bouquet. The palate shows great vitality and liveliness, with a core of seductive ripe fruit, barrel aged for twelve months, a very pretty and complete wine, best in 3-4 years, but may pleasantly surprise at 8-10 years.
