What We Do
Pinot Noir is often described as the “Holy Grail of Wine” by those who are transfixed by its elegance, delicacy, subtlety and grace. Winemakers and enthusiasts alike are constantly questing for their next ethereal Pinot experience. This quest is at the heart of Pinot NOW’s reason for existence… to seek out and offer to like-minded enthusiasts rare, unique and hard-to-get examples of exemplary Pinots from wherever in the world fine Pinot Noir is produced by dedicated, devoted producers.
The quest for the Holy Grail of Wine is a never ending one - happily enough. We conduct our search with a passion that we share with our suppliers, customers and anyone seeking to broaden their horizons and understanding of this complex and tantalising grape.
On this website we aim to demystify pinot noir by providing as much information as we can about the wines we offer for purchase. You will find an ‘Information Sheet’ for each wine detailing tasting notes, vintage notes, winemaking data, winery and vineyard information, and reviews. We want to bring the people behind the labels to you too, with winery profiles and pictures; providing an insight into the history and personalities where we can.
As we have our finger on the Pinot Pulse, we will keep you up to date with features of interest (web-sites, news reports, articles, blogs, videos and images, centred around the wonderful world of pinot. Check out our news feed from time to time.
Just Pinot?
Actually, no. While pinot is our love and our focus, we do offer other varietal wines. All of the wineries that we work with are pinot specialist producers – but not necessarily exclusively so. Many of them produce other varietal wines with the same passion and dedication they apply to their pinots. We are proud to present these wines also.
The Personal Experience
We love to meet, greet, chat and share wonderful tasting experiences with fellow pinot devotees. So, whenever a good excuse arises we conduct tastings and dinners to showcase our wines. It might be a visiting winemaker, the arrival of a new overseas shipment, participation in an industry wine fair or a casual evening with a few open bottles of interesting wines. When the opportunity arises we will invite you to join us to share glass or two.
Mailing List
We also invite you to join our Mailing List. We will let you know of tastings, dinners, other events and special offers as they evolve.
